A small town, second chance romance from Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author Devney Perry.

Life on his ranch could be their future. If they can overcome their past.

Felicity’s life story reads like the script to a bad soap opera. Girl’s high-school boyfriend becomes a drug addict. Girl falls for boyfriend’s best friend. Girl leaves them both, behind only to return home years later for murdered ex-boyfriend’s funeral. Now, she’s back home in Montana, ready to start fresh. She’s got a long list of amends to make and relationships to rebuild, including one with the man who has owned her heart for sixteen years.

Silas doesn’t need much. He’s got a great horse, close friends, and the Lucky Heart ranch, but something has always been missing. He’s not an idiot. He knows the missing piece is Felicity. And now that she’s returned to Prescott, he’s got a second chance to win her heart. This time, the only thing standing in his way is history. Drudging up the past is going to be about as painful as playing tug of war with barbed wire. But if they can heal old wounds, he’ll get the girl he should have had all along.

Not only did she influence, pressure, & convince her ex to do drugs, which sent him downhill. But, she kept it secret for years, instead of telling others to try to get him help - because she was worried what others would think of her. Then, she tried to influence Gigi & Jess to drink some Champagne before they were going to the bar, they both said no, and again, she tried to pressure, influence, and shame them into drinking. Wes, was naive & easily influenced...tragic, because peer pressure often come from those you trust. Felicity had the nerve to talk about Wes' mood changes, when it appeared she had them too, and was a bully - a mean girl in high school. And then there's Psylus, the betrayer, secretly trying to get with his best friend's girl... Felicity. He didn't even try to stop his friend from doing drugs. And even if Wes started doing drugs before Felicity suggested it, she didn't know that...it was the principle. Psylus just tried to justify their actions to relieve their guilt...deceptive. Maybe Felicity & Wes wouldn't have worked out, but to betray your friend like that....not cool. It was really convenient with all of the would've, could've, should'ves...when Wes wasn't around to tell his side. Sorry, but I was with Elliot when he hated Felicity. Felicity & Psylus are both HYPOCRITES, made for each other, but they don't deserve a HEA with each other, they deserve KARMA. I know this is fiction, but this one got me fired up!😤 Narration was ok.

Felicity is the devil 😈...

Going into this book I was not a fan of Felicity due to previous books. I will admit she was hard to connect with. I loved how she seen herself and all her flaws and knew she needed to work through them. The back story between Felicity, Silas, and Wes was messy and had so many layers. I love how Silas was sweet but an alpha at the same time. I thought that Devney did a great job of building the couple to one that the readers could like. I love seeing the previous couples and their interactions. I overall enjoyed this book, good job Devney!

I loved the lucky heart. Silas was that strong alpha male who loves and adores his girl. And felicity just wanted to find her place with the man she always loved. The back and fourth friends thing was a little annoying but I still loved it.

Another great story
