A Delightful Addition to the Wonky Inn Series!

I absolutely loved The Mysterious Mr. Wylie! Jeannie Wycherley continues to weave magic and mystery into the Wonky Inn series, and this sixth installment did not disappoint. The story was engaging, atmospheric, and full of the quirky charm I’ve come to adore.

While this book features a new narrator—Tara-Louise Kaye—I found her performance captivating. It took a moment to adjust to the change in voice, but she brought her own unique flair to the characters and maintained the whimsical tone of the series beautifully.

This series just keeps getting better, and I’m already looking forward to what’s next. Highly recommended for fans of cozy mysteries with a supernatural twist!

time travel... when a body is found while work was being done at the inn. Alf gets involved with the case to solve who the skeleton is. Another great addition to a series worth checking out.

Outstanding!

Renovations at the Wonky Inn reveal a skeleton hidden in a walled off area protected by a powerful magic spell. Alfhild Daemonne is horrified that her ancestors may have been responsible for the death, and begins to investigate. A reappearing briefcase and a mysterious guest at the Inn help Alf and her friends solve the mystery. The characters continue to develop and their interactions are becoming more complex. I only hope that Alf finds a love interest worthy of her. This book is filled with magic, time travel and overarching story lines. I can’t wait to get to the next in the series. The narration is excellent.

Enchanting Time Travel Paranormal Cozy Mystery

An enchanting cozy mystery with elements of time travel that tie into the overall story seamlessly. The author has a way of taking the reader into another world, and the narrator depicts it perfectly. I was going to listen only to and from work, but had to finish the audiobook as soon as I was home—another delightful tale in the Wonky Inn series. I look forward to more adventures with Alfhild Daemonne and the gang. This can be read (listened to) as a standalone.

WITCHES, WIZARDS AND WALLED IN WONDERS
Old magic and the Wonky Inn renovations do not seem to go well together, who knew the need for additional toilets would cause this much trouble? I see the IT security ghost has moved on to greener pastures so to speak, in the last story I was pretty sure he had a bright future, good to see.
Overall another fun and entertaining book. This book has a new narrator Tara-Louise Kaye whom surprisingly sounded like the previous narrator by the second third of the book. Big tick from me. Recommended series. Recommended book,
