It actively releases people from trauma, allowing them to escape from the grip of their former tormentors, cast off the role of victim, and begin the struggle against forgetting in earnest.

Beautifully written

One of the best biographies of the holocaust, written by a beautiful soul who chose not to be a victim despite the horrific things done to her. What an inspiration! It takes courage to embrace the power of forgiveness and understand that forgiveness is a gift one gives to oneself.
