Worst "Hero" ever.

For being such an experienced and talented fighter he sure does make stupid mistakes and seems to nearly die in every confrontation. Can not bring myself to finish the series as every minute of the story is infuriating.

Great immersive storytelling

Main and sub characters are lovable and charming. Love the twists and turns the story takes. Captivating story and storytelling.

Could not finish

A bad story almost saved by a great narrator. Picked this up in a 2 for 1 sale. Premise sounded good, I enjoy Brand's narrations so decided to give it a go. Managed to make it through 2 & a half books but book 3 was too tedious. The author attempts to sell the protagonist as "The Bloody Nine" (Iykyk) but fails. Multiple points in the story seem to be pointless reaches to sell this to the listener. I just can't....
