A monotone voice and frequent mispronunciation of words (“bow-dice” rather than “bah-diss” for bodice and so on). I’m pretty sure Michael Bowen is an AI.

This sounds like it was read by AI

There is a name given to the narrator of this audiobook; however, I think it must be an AI generated voice. Every word is said with the exact same tone, several words are mispronounced, and some words are actually switched for different words. My favorite is when he said that the “victim died interstate“(meaning in the middle of the road?) rather than the “victim died intestate” (without a will). If an actual human being was reading this, then he is less skillful than the high school students I teach. Do not get any book with this man listed as narrator!

Worst audio ever!

Horrible narrator! Waste of money!! If I could get a refund, I would!! Never again!

It’s Agatha Christie

The narration made it difficult to follow the stories. The stories themselves are good. Classic Christie.
The two biggest issues with the narration:
-inflection at the end of most of his sentences
-no determinable difference between characters (Often I didn't know which character was speaking.)

Good stories, bad narration

I really like Agatha Christie, but this was not it for me. the narrator put the most unrecognizable emphasis on vowels. additionally, this isn't a cohesive story, so it was doubly hard to follow.

unlistenable narrator
