I enjoyed the characters and the story line. It was a good read. I liked the ending the best.

This set of books is so good. Dark, well written, well told amazing narration job, Awesome characters with wonderful chemistry. Really love Piper's books.

Redemption Story

After the first 2 books i didn’t think I’d ever like Francesco but he really showed out in this book. Loved the angst and story. Loved seeing his character develop. Yummy spice . Thomas Locklear never disappoints . The female narrator was too monotone for me but i pushed through it in that regard .

A second chance???

Chrissy makes a mad attempt at a 1 or 3 night stand to get out of an arranged marriage, but it's temporary as her evil father has another vile person in line for her. She can't seem to escape evil men that just want to use her. Is that true of her 3 night stand too??? This is intense and dark, with some very bright spots and love. Take the journey. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrators did a stunning job bringing the characters and story to life. Kudos!!!

The Underboss is book #3 in the Ruthless Empire mafia series. I didn't even get through the first chapter before I realized I needed to listen to books 1 and 2 first. I'm so glad I did (I hate spoilers) because this series is amazing. Francesco's story was intense, angsty, and filled with plot twists, suspense, and that steamy yearning from a ONS that he couldn't get over or forget. Christiana goes from being a naive 18yo to a law intern put into yet another arranged marriage after being blackmailed by her father. Loved Priest Dominic and Francesco's right-hand Kayman (sp?) as they keep Francesco from self-destructing. All the characters from the previous books are included bringing the alpha-ness and banter to a new level. This can definitely be a standalone, but if your FOMO is like mine, do NOT miss this series!

The narration is incredible. Thomas Locklear and Delaney Dawson perfectly voiced Francesco and Christiana. The heartbreak, the passion...these two brought it all to their performance. Loved, loved, loved this duo. 5/5 stars! 🌟
