Thus begins the daring escape that includes jumping off (and on) trains; wild car rides; a society house party; and the threat of incarceration in an insane asylum!

Grace Livingston Hill, well known for her Christian romances, was equally adept at thrilling suspense (see also her novel "The Red Signal").

I loved the story line

I love all of it! I simply cannot stop listening! I loved Chan, I loved that he went way out of his way to help Rachel, and that he accepted Jesus Christ in the end! And I couldn’t get enough of Rachel. And I think Chan and Rachel are perfect for each other.

Beat ever!

3rd time listening to this masterpiece novel! Each time gleaning and appreciating that much more then before! A Spiritual Uplifting Delight! Once again, thank you Grace and Anne🙏🏼!

Love Grace Livingston Hill stories

A little more action than most GLH books, but good story and characters. This was a new story to me, though I thought I’d read all her books, but is very good.

Not my favorite

Was very preachy, fine, but it was more a conversion story ending surprise after the darkest start.
