I put this book on my TBR because of a sound bite off TikTok that made me laugh.
And I just have not been feeling multiple book series or duologies. This was the perfect stand-alone.
Cute, short, and smutty....I mean sweet.

The story was…. Interesting to say the least, but James Cassidy is literally an ACTOR. This man’s talent knows NO BOUNDS. Every book I listen to with him, I’m astonished. That man deserves every award on the planet. Wow. Yeah, wow.

So cute!

I love it! Such a fun quick read. Super cute and cozy. The narrators were great!

📝My Thoughts:
You guys, I confess. I have such a sweet spot for a monster romance. Especially one with a sweet giant cinnamon roll who just can’t help himself! This was a fun There’s Something About Mary reimagining, but make it dragons and endow him thrice. This childhood friends to lovers, second chance romance was the perfect little palate cleanser of a novella. The slow burn burrrned (in the best way), but it finished strong!

Zed and Cari were incredibly sweet together, and I loved getting a peek into their story. It had a great balance of charm, humor, and sweet and I really enjoyed it!

🎧James and Amy did such a great job bringing these characters to life! Their timing, chemistry, and character work made it such an enjoyable listen. The audio was fantastic and delivered all the growly dragon goodness I could ask for.

Love a dragon that knows how to treat a woman.

Good story, yummy smut, with just enough plot sprinkled in to keep things interesting.
