Josh and Paige

The narrators did a good job. This was sweet, cute and funny. I enjoyed listening to this story, but I must admit there were certain things that bothered me. I will give one example because I don't want to ruin anything one of the reasons for their breakup was she was trying to prove to herself and others that she can make it on her own and doesn't need anybody to financially support her. Josh didn't like she was far away and she kept postponing coming back. But when she did and they decided to hookup while she was here he kept blowing her off because of work that had him working all night until early morning and then sleeping. I love the meddling Grandma she was funny and sweet.

Sweet holiday second chance romance.

I love a meddling Nana and Josh's Nana just took my top spot. Josh and Paige were meant to be together and Nana set out to make it happen. This was such a sweet second chance romance that completely warmed my heart just in time for Christmas. Laura Jennings and Chip Hurley were both new to me narrators and I really enjoyed their duet narration of Paige and Josh. Their voices were both engaging and really kept me immersed in the story. They made me fall even more in love with Josh and Paige (and their family, especially Nana) as they found their way back to one another.

Heartwarming Second Chance

This is a wonderfully written second chance romance. The narrators did a wonderful job and really made me feel the emotions of Paige and Josh. I had to listen to this in on sitting. Paige and Josh were high school sweethearts who fell apart cause of career choices. After 2 years they reconnect thanks to a meddling grandma and a dog. I love how it realistically portrays the struggles of a couple who love each other but must overcome their fears and past hurts to get their hea. This book is full of emotional depth, angst and heat. Definitely a 4.5 star must read or listen.

So so good!

This is my second Danika Bloom’s book and I’m obsessed with this series. I need them all on audio. Love this story. It was different and special, definitely a great second chance romance. With fur babies and everything. Great narration for sure. Love them both, the narrators and the MCs. Paige and Josh are perfect for each other, the first time and the second time even better. Their chemistry is so good. Love how they fall in love with each other again, how this time they take the challenge to make things possible. Nana’s is the best wingman for sure, love her. Love all Josh siblings and can’t wait to read/listen to them all.
