It was cute 🥰

I actually really liked the story but I didn’t care for the narrator 😕
The story was cute and had a lot of fun parts to it but idk if for sure it was the narration or 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I had a hard time actually liking the characters, they were ok but you don’t fall in love with them. I’m wondering if I had read the story if I would have enjoyed it more.
This is a very good author and I have enjoyed many of her books before so I definitely would not give up on her stories 🙂

surprising conclusion

This story has likable characters that we care about and root for. I was relieved when they finally quit tying outdo each other and the plot moved on. The children and the little monkey were added elements. Wrapping up the three plots was delightful. This is an enjoyable author and I can recommend her wholesome regency novels.
