I absolutely loved this story! So much emotion. Grief, fear, shame, longing and love, just to name a few. Their chemistry is explosive and the suspense had me wanting to block out everything so I could finish the story.

good story. needs a female counterpart

this story would have been better with h a female and male reader. the narrator doesn't have a good female voice and made some of the story confusing to follow. overall good story

Arsonist threatening lives.

Piper Stone has written a awesome story with erotic, sexy scenes, a dominant firefighter and submissive fire investigator who have sizzling hot chemistry, and an arsonist with more on his agenda. Genevieve is fighting an uphill battle trying to win the respect of the firefighters as she investigates suspicious fires. Blaise becomes her protector as well as her lover. I enjoyed the twists and turns in this story not to mention the smoking hot sex scenes. Ken Solin does an outstanding job narrating this book. I highly recommend this Audible book.

terrible choice of narrator

This might be a good story but the cadence and tone of the narrator completely put me off. I struggled through 4 chapters and then gave up. It is possibly just me, but when the narrator was reading the female parts, it caused me to picture them all as transvestites.
