They say only fools enter the tower....

All Max wants is to become a climber and search for his long-lost sister.

But citizens aren’t allowed to climb - they aren’t even allowed remotely in the vicinity of the mysterious and magical tower. Plus, even if citizens could enter, it didn’t change the fact that Max’s body is paralyzed from the waist down, confined to a wheelchair. No way would anyone let him enter the tower. Ever.

Yet one night, everything changes, and Max’s world is thrown upside down. He suddenly gains an ultra-rare ability and the chance to train and climb the tower.

But being a climber isn’t as easy as it sounds. Each floor of the tower contains vast worlds and deadly, magical monsters.

While Max may want to ascend to the top of the tower, there are plenty of others who want to as well, many who won’t blink an eye at removing anyone who stands in their way....

How to put this... The story feels like it was written for children. The characters has unrealistic reactions towards each other and the bad guys seems comically evilly stupid. The main character gets himself out of situations by shear dumb luck. At one point he warned someone about the bad guy in the story and... Nothing really comes from it... What the heck? The person he warned even said that he will look into it and nothing happens? I think the author forgot a lot of small plot points.

Love the concept, the execution not so much

I liked this one! It was an easy read. The story was appealing and kept me entertained. The characters were interesting and can't help but root for the MCs. The others were the type you'd love to hate!

Steve Campbell delivered a solid performance. As always, his narration made my listening experience really enjoyable.

Good One!

I listen to a lot of books on audio so this is not the best but a decent start to a litrpg story.

Worth a credit

the author has something good going on here. It's pretty surface level as far as storytelling goes but again, it was pretty enjoyable. This series could be something special if it gets fleshed out more.

Definitely for a younger crowd but

I just started reading this
But I already know everything I need to

It’s well written
Technically

And the plot is entertaining

And also IT’S LITERALLY THE CAMPIEST THING I’VE EVER READ

Or watched

(Except for Kung Fury
(But literally only that))

I have never laughed harder reading anything

This is genius

Literally the second Campiest Thing Ever
