A hardcore thriller that grabs you by the throat

A hardcore thriller that grabs you by the throat from the first few pages. Loved this audiobook as much as Carrie Magillen’s other books. Is it violent? Yes! Is it spicy? Yes! But for me it wasn’t out of place. On the contrary, it was realistic in terms of the characters and their situation. The performances of the two narrators are incredible. The voice of Paul particularly had my heart thumping in my chest and I had no idea how Milly was going to get out of it. The ending is completely shocking. LOVED IT!

Actors make the story!

I truly appreciated the plot of this as it is creepy and keeps you on the edge of your seat. However, the voice actors and actress make the whole book so much better. It was a pleasure to hear the characters come to life with the performance. It keeps you guessing and wondering how things will unfold. It’s a bit confronting in a way as it has some thrilling aspects and tough human situations. Thrilling and exciting! Good job!!!

Graphic and Gratuitous-hard pass. No just no!

No trigger warning provided. I was shocked by the level of explicit language, graphic violence, and sexual content in this audiobook. It felt excessive and unnecessary. I absolutely do not recommend this title.l want my credit back!
