Steve and Erica are brought together by their mutual grief.

Erica doesn’t have much in the way of family, but the Beaufort Poker Club takes her in as one of their own after her fiancé is killed in a hit and run accident.

Steve don’t know what to do with these feelings that he never thought he’d want again.

I do feel for Melissa. I hope she gets a HEA soon!

Predictable but Heartwarming

I enjoyed the story, mostly enjoyed the narration, and am looking forward to Book 3.

Holy range of emotions!! This is a steamy read with so much heartbreak, banter, friendship, plenty of angst and a storyline that will keep you flipping the pages wanting to see what happens next. The push and pull between Erica & Steve is agonizingly intense, yet delicious. Talk about a page turner & one that has ALL the feels! This book engulfs you and drags you into the characters lives. It is an absolute must read.

Sofia Willingham & Gabriel De Leon do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character.
