US Deputy Marshal Matt Bannister is coming home to reconcile with his family. He prayed he wouldn't see his ex-best friend Tom Smith nor the only girl he ever loved, Tom's wife, Elizabeth.

However, old feuds unsettled never die and spark a powder keg of action as the quiet town of Willow Falls trembles in fear when the desperate Moskin Gang kidnaps Elizabeth and leaves a murderous trail for the sheriff Tom Smith to follow. In anguish, he turns to his despised ex-friend Matt Bannister to help him get the woman they both love back alive, if they can.

Sometimes God's greatest blessing is unanswered prayers.

The characters have become dear to me! Anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!

Mr. Pratt has a way of bring the characters to life and I really liked the way he did in Willow Falls.
I have to admit the narrator had me chuckle when he was portraying the women in Willow Falls.
I look forward to listening to sweethome next.

A must read

This was a great story in Oregon western town in the 1800s. It beautifully showed God‘s forgiveness, redemption, and justice. I was a bit disappointed in the narration, the reading was not very smooth or natural.

Never could get used to the narrator's style. It was really annoying. Made it through 3/4 of the way but could not make myself listen to it to the end. The storyline was very predictable and uninteresting. Waste of time and credit.

Disappointing
