adventure, but the same flaws as many other lit RPGs

A key thing that most let RPGs get wrong with storytelling, is they replace character development with character sheet progress. The ending of this book showed that the writer does not understand the importance of character relationships and how they actually help build a character. All the relationships that this character has that are of value our tertiary and shallow.

best story by Dean H

I have read a number of Dean H novels. This one has real heart and is now my favorite series. In this novel he shows how decisions have consequences and how we need to be patient with people and give them grace. The characters have depth. Thank you Mr H for a great novel and series.

I truly love this series

I love the world the author has built. Everything is well thought out with plenty of mystery still to uncover. My only gripe is that I have to wait until the next book comes out.

This third book in the series was yet another home run by Henegar’s. Henegar’s story telling is fantastic
