These stories are, The Ancient Dead, The Black Pirates of Barsoom, Yellow Men on Mars and Invisible Men of Mars. These are also considered to be the John Carter stories with the most humor, and explore the life of an older John Carter, Llana of Gathol being his granddaughter.
