In Season Six of Powder River, Etta and Jacob discover a 10-year-old boy, Levi Curtis, chopping wood at their home, acting as if he lived there. Britt soon discovers he is the sole survivor of an Indian attack on the Conestoga wagon he's traveling in with his family. Meanwhile, Doc (Lincoln Clark) is still struggling with guilt from the fire that destroyed his wife, Millie's (Diane Lind), general store, restaurant, and hotel.

Two women and their children arrive in Clearmont in route to California. Mrs. Chambers is looking to reunite with her husband who has been off mining for gold, while Mrs. Larson is a recent widow whose husband died of a snake bite along the trail. The women are determined to press onward despite the onset of winter. So, Britt MacMasters, former US Marshal turned rancher, and his ranch-hand Rusty, offer to escort the party through hostile territory.

Powder River continues the stories of the citizens of Clearmont, Wyoming in the year 1884. In "The Summer Visit," Jacob returns to town after his second year in college, and seems a changed man, while Britt, Dawes, and Cheyenne are faced with the mystery of "The Phantom Train." Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Powder River continues the adventures of the citizens of Clearmont, Wyoming, in the year 1884. In "Henry M. In "Dan's Mountain", Britt and Chad arrive at Dan MacMasters' home in Rancho de la Nación to settle the estate, only to find a local businessman has already claimed it in the two years since the Marshal's death.

Ticonderoga tells the story of Captain William Taylor and his Mohawk scout Degadawidah who are charged to escort Captain Carlton Campbell of the 42nd Highlanders through the dangerous lands of the Huron to Fort Edward, where the British are making plans to march on the French held Ticonderoga. On the journey they meet young orphan Adam Cobbs who receives a baptism by fire in the harsh and bloody wilderness of New York State.
