Here Osho reminds us that the world is a cosmos not a chaos. Then why do we experience it as chaotic? Because we experience the world through our mind, and the mind is by its very nature chaotic. The way out of this chaotic mess is through meditation. It is through meditation that you can experience life in all its mystery without the filters if the mind. Through cathartic meditation techniques in particular you can dissolve the chaos and create space for more celebration.

Here Osho exposes the belief in God as a mere projection of the mind, a game we play with ourselves in order to avoid responsibility. We do according to god rather than being according to our self. So long as god is we are not. So long as god decides we don’t. Only by seeing the trap of our belief in god are we free from god and free to be ourselves.

Every child has been conditioned not to love himself but to love others. That is impossible. Only a very deeply selfish person can be unselfish. Being self-centered is basic. A self-centered person seeks to maximize his happiness. The happier you become, the more you will seek to share that happiness with others. That is the only way to be happy.

Many decades ago, Osho addressed the unfolding environmental catastrophe. Today the bad stewardship of planet Earth by humanity is obvious. Osho analyses this catastrophe with an additional level of understanding, pointing to organized religions as major contributors to our predatory and careless handling of the environment. Prem ke pahaluo ko ujagar karnevala adbhut pravachan. Osho kahte hai ki prem me jab tak vyakti apna ahankar khota nahi hai tab tak prem nahi ho sakta. Prem hriday me ghatata hai aur hriday ke liye jhukna bahut asan hai. Prem mitne ki kala sikhata hai aur jine ki bhi.

In Tao, Osho takes listeners on an adventure into the world of Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu, Lieh Tzu, Ko Hsuan - the world of Taoism, one of the four major traditions of China. The 3000-year-old Taoist message of self-realization becomes alive as Osho recounts the stories of these Chinese mystics. Contrary to the laissez-faire going-with-the-flow perception of Taoism, Osho describes Tao in terms of freedom, anarchy, and chaos.

Osho speaks about the great harm that all organized religions have done to humanity by dividing man against himself, by creating a division between head and heart. “You are miserable because you have decided to be miserable” – hard words and difficult so see let alone to admit, that our misery is self-created, a strategy, something that we unconsciously cultivate because it works for us; it all allows us to avoid responsibility. And if we are willing to face it and to take responsibility for our misery we are freed from it. As simple as that.

In this meeting, Osho answers this question, asked by a visitor: More and more I see how my energy is either going very high or very low, how sometimes I get very excited, come down again and then feel embarrassed about what happened during this state of excitement.

"Time is that in which we live - it is horizontal. It is from A to B to C to D; it is in a line. Eternity is vertical. It is not from A to B and from B to C. It is from A to more A to still more A. It goes on upwards. The moment is rare because it happens only when meditation has reached ripening, maturity, when you have touched your innermost core." The vertical line opens a door to eternity.

In this talk Osho raises a critical voice about the double standards that have prevailed throughout the political history of the United States. He points to the discrepancy between the constitutional values of freedom and democracy, basic human rights and freedom of expression, which the United States has taken so much pride in, and the barbaric treatment it has given to the native people of America. The wider applications of this hypocrisy are obvious.

There are three kinds of problems - those that you create – they are almost ninety per cent of the problems of your life. You create them and you go on saying that you don’t want them. Ninety per cent of the problems simply disappear when you are in a meditative state – because you can see. And by seeing, you stop creating them. Ninety per cent will be solved; nine per cent will not be solved by your meditation but will be dissolved because they will not concern you at all.

Yadi aap jivan me atma-kranti chahte hai to apani sari bhulo ka, apni samasyao ka uttardayitva lo. Dusro par dosh madhne se kuch hasil na hoga. Manovigyan aur dharm me yahi phark hai. Manovigyan apani manasikta ke liye dusre ko doshi manta hai, aur dharm svayam ko. Pashchim ahamkar ko majbut karta hai aur purab ahankar ko mitata hai. Yadi tum jimmedar ho to hi vikas ki sambhavna banti hai.

Paramatma nikat me jana jata hai. Nikat ko pahachanne ka marg hai prem. Anuman nahi, tark nahi, jab prem me doobkar tumhara hriday geet gungunata hai tab tum paramatma ka anubhav karte ho. Paramatma anuman nahi, prem ki pratiti hai.
