The war between the seven alien races of the Confederation and the Human Empire heats up in this epic conflict to free the Human Empire from the grip of the Confederation. After their failed attack on Earth, the Confederation is even more determined to bring the Empire back under their control. The Morag lead the massive fleet of Confederation warships to subdue this rebellion in the Empire and regain their control over the humans. The war between the seven alien races of the Confederation and Earth heats up as the two come into direct conflict over the former Human Empire. The people or Earth are determined to free it, and the Confederation is determined to keep it under their strict control. Fleets meet in combat as the fate of worlds is decided. Earth is hopelessly outmatched as the Confederation controls thousands of inhabited planets.

The Confederation has decided that Earth represents a significant danger to their future plans of Empire. A massive fleet is dispatched to destroy the Solar System and every Human on its planets, moons, and asteroids. If the Solar System falls, the fledging Human Empire will have no chance of survival. Admiral Reynolds is tasked with defending the Solar System and preserving as many Human lives as possible. He knows he faces a nearly impossible task as he does not have the ships needed to stop the coming attack.

War could break out any day if something isn't done. The human leaders suggest a daring plan to buy them the additional time they need to strengthen the Fleet, as well as the defenses protecting their worlds.

For over six years, the Lost Fleets have been trapped in the Triangulum Galaxy. Every day has been filled full of danger as the galaxy conquering Simulins search relentlessly for them. With the arrival of the Distant Horizon, a daring plan is made. A message drone will be sent back home to give them warning of the deadly danger the Lost Fleets are facing. A danger that will soon boil over into the home galaxy as well.

Far from Earth and the Human Empire, the Human fleets continue to fight against an enemy that vows to destroy them.
