Will Cannon decides to help two young Arizona rangers clean out the nest of vipers known as Outlaw Town. Will travels to Prescott, Arizona, and then he poses as a Texas outlaw named Tex Avon to get into Outlaw Town. He is in constant danger as he works to put an end to the outlaws in Outlaw Town and in Prescott.

Scarlett Vital, the beautiful woman Will saved from the Irish Gang in Las Vegas, New Mexico, is having trouble with a gang of outlaws at her whiskey distillery in Tennessee. Will rides the rails to Tennessee to fight the crooked Yankee carpetbaggers and their outlaw gang. Blackman was a Yankee officer in the war and Will hopes he has found the gang of outlaws that killed his family in Virginia several years ago.

The vigilante, the Black Hood, is doing a good job fighting Marx and his hired killers in Dogtown, Colorado, but Will Cannon thinks the Black Hood might need some help. Will rides to Dogtown to buy saddle horses from some young bronc busters there and he finds himself right in the middle of the fight. Will enlists the help of the three brave young bronc busters and they set out to end the criminal careers of all of the men in the Marx Gang. All of the Will Cannon novels are classic western adventures.

Will Cannon hears about a gang of outlaws operating out of the small village of Pecos, New Mexico. Moses, the leader of the outlaw gang, claims he is the "Robin Hood of New Mexico". The outlaw boss says he will take all of the land given to the Mexican people in land grants by the King of Spain. Other outlaws have made such a claim in the past and all of those outlaws failed to claim one acre of land but the outlaws did find some people willing to join their cause.

Will Cannon knows that the Lucias King Gang is an outlaw gang of all black men, and they have been robbing and killing innocent people in Colorado for two years. He thinks that there is another gang of outlaws robbing the gold trains near Denver, Colorado, and he hopes this is the Blackman Gang. Blackman and his gang of cutthroats killed Will's family, and Will will not rest until Blackman and every member of his gang are dead.

Will Cannon finds out there is a gang of outlaws terrorizing the law abiding citizens in Waco, Texas and he hopes he has found the Blackman Gang. Blackman and his gang of cutthroats killed Will's family and Will cannot rest until Blackman and every member of his gang are dead. Will rides to Waco and finds a gang of outlaws is using murderous mail order brides to kill the husband and steal his property. The outlaw gang is being run by an evil woman and she has plenty of hired killers on her payroll. Will works to bring law and order and justice to Waco.

The governor of Wyoming asks Will to find out the truth about a group of strange people living in the Valley of the Tucas. Will knows this tribe of mixed-breed outlaws are causing part of the trouble in the area, but he also thinks a gang of white outlaws are doing some of the robberies and murders there. Will hopes the white outlaws are the Blackman Gang. Will rides to Wyoming and finds plenty of trouble but he enlists the help of some young cowboys and together they fight the outlaws.

Will Cannon rides to Texarkana, Texas in search of the Blackman Gang. He immediately becomes involved in a blood feud between the Monroe clan from Texarkana and the Larson clan from Arkansas. Will meets a beautiful young hillbilly woman named Billy Joe Monroe. Billy Joe is determined to make Will her husband and even though Billy Joe is a handful she does help Will bring the outlaw gang to justice.

Will Cannon rides the trail alone to California in search of the Blackman Gang. Will thinks a district judge named "Hanging Henry" Hart has joined an outlaw gang. Several other elected officials such as the district attorney and the sheriff may also be working with the polecat outlaws. Will gets some help from some California state marshals and from a beautiful women as he tries to bring down the Wall Gang.

Montana Gold Fever is a story of greed, murder, betrayal, and redemption that takes place in modern times and is set in the tall peaks of western Montana and the Alaskan wilderness.

Will Cannon is on the way to Springerville, Arizona to buy some stock when he catches some dirty Regulators lynching a young cowboy. Will manages to save the young cowboys life, but the Regulators think the cowboy is dead. Will devises a plan to make the young cowboy The Lazarus Man and have him attack the outlaws while Will gathers a group of ranchers and cowboys to fight the outlaws.

Will Cannon receives an important telegram from his brother, Joe Cannon, in Santa Fe. A gang of vicious outlaws have abducted some of the government officials. Will gets on the train and heads for Santa Fe to stop the criminal activity. Several innocent people have been killed, and Will and his brother, Joe, won't allow that to happen. The outlaw gang has plenty of men, money, weapons, and criminal background, but the outlaw gang doesn't have Will Cannon.

Billy Bob Sheldon is a famous Texas criminal attorney that is known for helping innocent people that are wrongly accused by the state. Jack Kershaw is the equally famous former Texas Ranger turned PI that investigates the cases and too often has to provide Billy Bob with some 45 caliber help, because some criminals just don't like to face justice. Billy Bob and Jack defend two pretty young school girls, who are accused of murdering two classmates that had been bullying them.

Will Cannon rides the rails to St. Louis to find a gang of outlaws that are killing passengers on the Queen of the Mississippi river boat. Will trails the outlaws to New Orleans and finds a beautiful woman in desperate need of his help and he enlists the help of the Cajuns that live in the bayou to fight the outlaw gang.

Will and Joe Cannon have been selling a lot of supplies and horses in the small mining town of Chama, New Mexico, but now an outlaw gang is trying to take over Chama. Will Cannon and Pete Abrams go to Chama to sell supplies and to confront the gang of cutthroats. Will hopes the man causing the trouble in Chama is named Blackman. Blackman and his gang of murderous outlaws killed Will's family in Virginia several years ago. Will swore he would find and kill Blackman and every member of his gang. The white hot fire of revenge burns deep in Will's soul.

Will Cannon had gone to Durango a few years ago and taken care of the Silver Dollar Killer and the Edwards Gang, but now a new group of murderous outlaws are taking over Durango. Will and his brother, Joe, do business in Durango, and he is not going to allow a gang of outlaws ruin his business there. Will rides to Durango and later to the lawless mining camp of To Hell You Ride, Colorado, to fight the outlaws. He enlists the help of some miner vigilantes and some young cowboys and Pete Abrams and his other men from Chama to fight the outlaws.

Will Cannon rides the trail to Tucson in search of the Blackman gang and the Lost Santa Rita Gold Mine. He finds renegade Apaches, Mexican bandits, and a vicious outlaw gang in Tucson, and he also finds a beautiful woman in danger. Will gets three old gold prospectors to help him fight the outlaws.

Will Cannon receives a telegram from Texas Ranger Tex Bodine that describes a murder that is going to take place in Santa Fe. The Murder for Hire Gang killed one old miner in Santa Fe and now they plan to kill another miner to keep him from testifying in court. An Indian named Grey Dog is a member of the Blackman Gang. Blackman and his gang of murderous cutthroats killed Will's family in Virginia many years ago.

Will Cannon rescues Mountain Mike, the last living mountain man, from a gang of outlaws from Taos, New Mexico. The gang of ruthless outlaws are trying to steal Mike's silver claim. Will gets some cowboys and some vigilante miners and devises a plan to rid Taos of the outlaws.

This collection of short stories has several stories and only one of the stories is not about the old west. A woman searching for some substance in her life ventures into the Devil's own canyon. A huge crippled grizzly turns man eater in "The Brute".
