The Cattlemen is a Western novel based on the relationship between Bill Brubaker and Bud Baxter, childhood friends who share the dream of becoming cattlemen. The friends grew up on adjoining farms in the Huzzah Valley in central Missouri, left home together, fought in the Civil War in the same unit, and went to Texas together to pursue their dream of becoming Cattlemen. They rounded up feral cattle in Texas and Oklahoma Territory.

Soiled doves are being systematically killed in Denver, Boulder, and other towns in Colorado. Governor Evans understands the mindset of the insane and knows the killer must be stopped. The Bounty Hunter: The Legend Begins is the story of Peter “Spike” Davis, who leaves his parents’ Missouri farm to find his fortune in the West. By happenchance, he stumbles upon the role of hunting men for the reward on their heads, and discovers he has a talent for tracking, capturing, or killing humans. He takes some of the reward money he has accumulated, and buys a small cattle ranch in Bent County, Colorado, only to find there are no cows as were promised.

Chip Davis gets mauled by a Cougar, while elk hunting and is nursed back to health by White Dove, a white woman named Melissa Johnson, who was adopted by the Cheyenne. The Cheyenne agreed to let him leave with the warning that they would kill Melissa if he led white men to their camp. Jeb gets drygulched on his way back to the Davis ranch, after selling horses to the army and has to contend with three bandits.

Jeff Baker survives the Civil War and becomes a U.S. Marshal in the Indian Territory. He tires of hunting and killing men in order to keep the peace and resigns. After settling at Bitter Creek, in Hardin County, Texas, he gathers cattle and sells them in Galveston. He saves the life of a Negro boy and acts as his guardian. Jeff finds that he can’t hide from his responsibilities and becomes a U.S. Marshal in Houston, Texas. The Clancy brothers are rustling cattle and mixing them in with their herd. Three men rob the Wells Fargo office and head out toward Beaumont.

Will Cannon rides alone to the Tall Timber Country in Oregon looking for the Blackman Gang. He finds a town full of scared people that has been overrun by a gang of outlaws and another outlaw boss running the lumber camps. This country is much too beautiful to hide such evil deeds, so Will sets out to make things right.

The Plainsman – The Wagon Train Scout is the 2nd book in the Plainsman series. Sam Jackson was to wear many hats during his life: freight wagon driver, wagon train scout, Deputy town Marshal, Deputy Sheriff, scout for the 9th and 6th Cavalry, and U.S. Marshal for the Western Division of Texas. Sam responded to a newspaper ad asking for someone to scout for a wagon train bound for Santa Fe, New Mexico, on the Santa Fe Trail. Sam sent a telegram and surprisingly was hired sight unseen. He traveled from Texas to Independence, Missouri.

Tipi Morris was a 12-year-old girl and part of a wagon train headed west. She was up early and went into a draw, leading her foal, Sundance, to relieve herself and let him graze. While she was hidden from sight, Indians attacked the wagon train and killed everyone including her parents. After the screams stopped and the Indians rode off, Tipi went to the wagons, and buried her parents. She scavenged everything she could find that was usable for the wagons and the Colt Baby Dragoon pistol and money that was hidden in her parent’s wagon.

After putting together a large herd of Texas longhorn cattle, Hannibal and Stumpy headed the herd for California. Comancheros kidnapped Hannibal’s wife, Morning Star, to sell in Mexico. Hannibal set out alone to find and return her. Once they had secured Morning Star and other girls' release, Stumpy and Hannibal sold the cattle as planned and headed back to Kansas Territory. Now it was time to build a ranching operation.

The Plainsman – The Bounty Hunter begins the story of Samuel Jackson. Sam was to wear many hats during his life: freight wagon driver, wagon train scout, Deputy Town Marshal, Deputy Sheriff, scout for the 9th and 6th Cavalry, and U.S. Marshal for the Western Division of Texas. Sam tracked and captured several killers, bandits, and other wanted individuals. All without having to kill any of them. Working out of Austin and San Angelo, Texas, he monitored wanted posters until he found someone within riding distance to attempt to capture.

William “Bill” Stewart left Missouri to seek his fortune. Along the way, he worked as a cow puncher, range detective, town marshal, sheriff, and US marshal. In each job, he is forced into conflicts with the Indians. Finally his skills as an Indian fighter caught the attention of the US Army, and he was given a commission. He soon discovered that his greatest challenge was in following orders while retaining his humanity.

Once again, Josh Baker and Eddie Debord find themselves among the hills, hollows, and rivers of West Virginia in yet another fast paced adventure mystery! What started out as a quiet week of camping during a beautiful “Indian Summer” over Thanksgiving break - ends up as an inexplicable week of suspense, mystery, adventure, and intrigue.

Will Cannon had gone to Durango a few years ago and taken care of the Silver Dollar Killer and the Edwards Gang, but now a new group of murderous outlaws are taking over Durango. Will and his brother, Joe, do business in Durango, and he is not going to allow a gang of outlaws ruin his business there. Ma Wheeler learns of an assassin and contacts him with an offer to go to Colorado and get the revenge she craves for the Davises’ killing her sons and nephews. Samuel T. Brummett has the same skills with rifle and pistols as the Davises. His arrival in Bent County sets up a test of wills, and the outcome of the possible conflict is in question.

The year was 1715. A Treasure Fleet comprised of 11 Spanish ships and one French vessel was blown onto the reefs off of the east-central coast of Florida by a massive hurricane. Eleven of the 12 vessels were dismasted, broken like kindling, and sent to the seafloor in less than 20 feet of water.

Some dirty polecats Arizona Moonshiners are making poisoned moonshine and selling it to Apache Indians, miners and cowboys near Globe, Arizona. Will gets help for two local cowboys and he uses the authority given him by the Arizona Rangers to hunt down the outlaws. He discovers that the moonshiners are also robbing the payroll shipment from the train and that the Indian Agent on the San Carlos Indian Reservation may be the boss of the outlaws.

When Hannibal Brinks left his boyhood home in Missouri, he was just 16-years-old. He joined a small wagon train headed West. On the way, he met two brothers who were mountain men, and traveled to the Rockies with them. After he leaves, the wagon train encounters Arapaho horse thieves, and is then attacked by a large number of hostiles.

The strip of land on the northern Arizona border is known as No Man's Land or the Outlaw Strip. No state wants to claim title to this land because the town of Compton and the nearby land is a lawless hell hole that is occupied by ruthless cutthroats and murders. However, there are some good people in Compton, and some young bronc busters work taming wild broncs in the mountains near No Man's Land. Will and Joe Cannon need to buy the horses from the bronc busters, so Will rides the trail alone to No Man's Land.
