WWII sniper Caje Cole embarks on a rescue mission behind the new Iron Curtain for American POWs held as political pawns by Russian forces. To free them, he will have to defeat his deadliest adversary yet, the Red Sniper. The brutal Russian believes that he can outgun anyone, but he hasn't met the likes of this backwoods hunter and marksman.

Deep in the Korean mountains, US sniper Caje Cole and his squad are on patrol when they witness a dogfight that ends with an American pilot being shot down over enemy territory. Cole leads the rescue effort that puts him in conflict with a deadly Chinese sniper, but that turns out to be the least of his worries. Enemy forces are on the move, starting with the capture of an outpost just beyond the American line.

Deacon Cole and the rest of Patrol Easy hoped that they had seen their last combat for a while, but they soon find themselves in the first wave during the invasion of the Philippines in October 1944. They witness the bold military leader General Douglas MacArthur wading ashore even as Japanese bullets still fly.

The fight for victory in the Pacific continues; this time at Leyte in the Philippines. Deacon Cole and the rest of Patrol Easy are sent as an advance unit to help crack the formidable Japanese defenses before the American invasion. To make the mission even more difficult, the Japanese have deadly snipers of their own. If Deke and the others can’t help bring down the enemy defenses in time, there will be a terrible price to pay when US troops hit the beach.

June 6, 1944. On the dawn of the D-Day invasion of Normandy, two snipers find themselves fighting a battle all their own. One is a backwoods hunter from the Appalachian Mountains in the American South, while the other is the dreaded German "Ghost Sniper" who earned his nickname on the Eastern Front. Locked in a deadly duel across the hedgerow country of France, the hunter matches wits and tactics against the marksman, both of them one bullet away from victory or defeat as Allied forces struggle to gain a foothold in Europe.

Summer 1944. When German sniper Dieter Rohde's older brother is unjustly shot for desertion by the SS, he will stop at nothing to win the Iron Cross medal and redeem his family's name by targeting as many Allied troops as possible. Rohde's deadly efforts bring him into direct confrontation with American sniper Caje Cole as the final pitched battle for France takes place around them at the Falaise Pocket.

Sniper Deacon Cole finds himself caught up in the Battle of Manila, known as “the Stalingrad of the Pacific.” Deke and the rest of Patrol Easy are soon fighting from street to street and house to house against an enemy that doesn’t know when to call it quits. The sniper duels prove to be every bit as intense as those that took place in the jungle. In the midst of the battle, they are called to help rescue hostages being held by the Japanese. If negotiations fail, Deke figures that he can let his rifle do the talking.

In December 1941, the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor plunges the United States into war. Fresh from the hardscrabble mountains of Appalachia, Deacon Cole joins the fight against Imperial Japan. In his first test against the enemy, he will use all his skill with a rifle against a deadly Japanese marksman. Across the beaches and jungles, they take part in the savage battle for control of a Pacific island. Can he protect his squad, or will they fall, one by one, under the enemy’s crosshairs?

Patrol Easy finds itself divided as the battle rages for the Philippines. One group of snipers sets sail for yet another beach landing on the far side of the Leyte peninsula. Crack shot Deacon Cole joins a unit fighting its way across the jungle interior, where he encounters not just the enemy but also a nasty tropical fever.

Autumn 1944. With the Allies giving chase across France, German forces are in full retreat after the defeat at the Falaise Gap. Now, two of these orphaned squads - one American unit, one German - find themselves in a small French village with a bridge across that river. Both sides want possession of the ancient bridge across the Moselle, and the result will be an epic showdown that pits general against general, and sniper against sniper.

December 1944. As German forces launch a massive surprise attack through the frozen Ardennes Forest, two snipers find themselves aiming for a rematch. Caje Cole is a backwoods hunter from the Appalachian Mountains of the American South, while Kurt Von Stenger is the deadly German "Ghost Sniper". Having been in each other's crosshairs before, they fight a final duel during Germany's desperate attempt to turn the tide of war in what will come to be known as the Battle of the Bulge. Just when it looks like Allied troops are finally winning the massive Battle of the Bulge in the snowy Ardennes forest, German forces launch a devastating counterattack called Operation Nordwind. US sniper Caje Cole and his squad are among those rushed to support the battered Allied troops in the Vosges Mountains.

While the politicians on both sides negotiate, the armies in the field are fighting a brutal war of attrition across the rugged Korean Peninsula. Sniper Caje Cole and his squad have one clear objective, which is to capture the next hill and keep it from falling back into enemy hands. That’s not easy when the enemy still attacks in overwhelming numbers. At the Battle of Triangle Hill, the soldiers find themselves in a stalemate with Chinese forces, fighting to capture and then regain a strategic foothold.

Deacon Cole and his rifle face off against a cruel Japanese commandant while liberating Allied POWs from a remote jungle prison camp. Before Deke and Patrol Easy can get there, they must continue the battle for Leyte in the Philippines across rice fields and roads still held by the enemy....
