One of my most cherished books in my library is The Life of the Beloved, by distinguished priest, author, and theologian Henri Nouwen. Reading his biography is like reading Who’s Who in the field of religion. He lived his faith every day to the fullest, and he was a prolific writer. I hope you will begin reading some of his books. The Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi is one of my favorite prayers that I have memorized and say quite often. I think about angels most every day. I believe they watch over us and help us in so many little ways, and even in the larger issues of our lives. Angels are all around us. Sent by God, they guide us and protect us when we are in trouble. I frequently post pictures and paintings of angels on my social media account, and I send them to friends all over the world to bring greetings and to remind everyone that they are being watched over and protected.
