However, the more time I spend with the infuriating male, the harder it is to plan my escape. If only I could find a way to stay alive and be his.

I'm in an alien zoo. The only problem is I'm the one in the exhibit. If I thought being abducted was scary, it's nothing compared to being gawked at by aliens everyday. Some of them look like they want to eat me while others look like they want to play with me. However, there's one male who stares at me with a blazing hunger that’s as bright as his red hair. It makes me think he wants to eat me and play with me in the most sinful ways. I don't have time for that, but it doesn't stop me from asking for his help. He agrees only if I promise to be his mate.

I’ve been abducted. Twice. My situation with this new group of aliens has gone from bad to worse. I was with a bunch of elf-like aliens who had unparalleled technology, but now I’m in the midst of a group of primitive gargoyle aliens running around in loincloths. Which doesn’t hide much, let me tell you. There’s one gargoyle in particular who watches my every move, but what’s under his loincloth scares me more than his beastly appearance. To be sure we’re worthy to breed with, the savages have us each perform a rite of passage. And by that I mean a test of survival.

My alien is engaged. Yeah, I’m still trying to wrap my head around that one. Apparently, Kade and his fiancée are desperate to have a baby, and that’s where I come in. Except the longer I’m around the couple, the more I’m not so sure this is arrangement is a good idea. Or that the happy couple is even happy... There’s a part of me that wants to get pregnant as soon as possible so I can be left in peace. However, each of Kade’s gentle touches and soft kisses compel me to change my mind.

Aliens. That's right. I said it. I know - it sounds stupid to me also. I'm a psychologist (sort of), so you'd think I'd be able to reason my way out of this mess. Except the reality is that I've been abducted to become their breeder, and it doesn't take an advanced degree to recognize this is all sorts of jacked up. But I digress. Apparently, these aliens are on the brink of extinction and need me and my fellow captives to repopulate. Yay us. I guess it's time to figure out an escape plan before they knock me up. I'll be back later. Hopefully.

I hate this place. Not that my life on Najarie was great, but at least I didn’t have a beastly alien trying to sex me up all the time. And when I say all the time, I mean all the freaking time. I haven’t forgotten Earth or the loved ones I’ve left behind. In fact, I’m willing to use any means necessary to get back to them. However, when the alien that claimed me offers to help in exchange for my body I find myself torn. Either I’m nothing more than a breeder to him or he’s trying to find a way to persuade me to stay. If that’s the case, his method is working.

This story is about Daxis discovering he's mated to a human female. And he is not happy about it. Actually, that's an understatement.

Braxton is a physician, and I'm sure that the feeling of wanting to heal people comes naturally to him. Too bad I'm not interested. All I want is to make sure my friend is safe and to find out what is going on with me physically. Braxton can help me with that, but from the heated glances thrown my way, I'm sure he wants to do more than examine me.

Anyway, I’m still trying to figure out how to get him to do what I want when I stumble onto plans for an assassination. I decide to get involved because if anyone is going to kill the sexy prince, it’s going to be me. Especially if he calls me his “namori” one more time. Whatever that means.
