Christopher Smart (1722-1771) was an English poet and scholar. This extraordinary poem, which is a florid display of Smart's opinions on a variety of theological, historical, and scientific subjects, was written between 1759 and 1763, while the author was confined in a lunatic asylum. The twins are separated and Viola is led to believe that her brother has perished. She disguises herself as a male under the name of Cesario and makes her way to the ducal court, where Orsino employs her as a messenger, to communicate his love to the reclusive lady, Olivia—who is not willing to return his affection.

Everybody knows there were no radio announcers onboard the Niña, Pinta, or Santa Maria (or from ancient Greece, medieval France, or the Battle of Gettysburg either!), but you will be transported back in time anyway as the show "broadcasts" from the ships, the shore, and Spain. The dialogue is very believable, historically accurate, and very much in character. It is apparent that the producers of this show did their homework!
