Let me start by saying I love this author, this series, and the series told from Persephone’s perspective. I am not disappointed in Game of Gods. In fact, I plowed through it. I’ve always struggled with this narrator, but I actually think this performance was better than previous ones. Where I am confused is that the description says this is the “final installment” in the Hades saga. Is that true? If so, I’m bummed because I was really enjoying the character development of the “new” characters in this book and really want to know how all of their stories play out. Also, this is a pretty intense cliff hanger if this is a “final installment”. If this is just a description mistake, it would be nice to correct it.

I am obsessed with this series. I can’t wait for A Touch of Chaos.. also not ready for this story to be over! The story is fantastic, the narrator in this series pronounces a few things differently from the Persephone x Hades series, but that’s the only thing I don’t love. 10/10 regardless

I realize this is an erotic fiction but must there be sex in every other scene? It gets in the way of an otherwise exciting story. Brilliant even. By the end of the book the repetitive sex scenes make my stomach roll. It’s so tiring to hear.

So much backstories. At one point I did get lost but I think it was because I was trying to see where I was at from Persephone’s POV. So much makes sense from reading her POV in what Hades was doing or Theseus or Dionysus. I am glad that we got to see their POVs as well. Overall these books really tied up well.

Crazy about this serie, I read Persephones p.o.v first and loving this side of the story.
And the narrator is amazing.
