This is a great start to what I believe will be an amazing series by this author! I love stories featuring a group of captivating brothers, each getting his own moment to shine. This book focuses on Shephard’s journey, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I’m excited to move on to Jagger’s story next, followed by Hunter’s when it becomes available. Definitely a fun and engaging read or listen. The narration was well done, making the experience even better. I’m looking forward to more!

Received a free audiobook for review. The overall story was interesting but I had some trouble connecting to the characters. I know some of the disconnect was because the Female lead parts were narrated by the same narrator as the male lead character. I think this part was a me issue not the actual audiobook. The narrator did a good job narrating the book overall. I will still pick up any book by Piper Stone because I enjoy the authors books.

Shephard is the first book in the Mountain Men of Danger Falls series. Shephard and Denise meet one night at a bar and have an amazing one night stand. They meet again when there are some murders in the area. They need to work together to solve the cases. Their relationship and love grows from there. Skyler Morgan was absolutely brilliant in his narration of this fabulous audiobook. I highly recommend listening.
