Although this can stand alone, the story begins where "Cruel Savior" ends. Gael's actions to kill the leader to marry his daughter cause collateral damage to Viktoria, as the older son in the second book - Violent Leader - seeks revenge against the Russian, unaware of the truth. Viktoria and her Russian family are innocent and not responsible for Gael’s crime. As always, the narration is excellent!
