Bad narrator

Love this series, but Sandra Burr was so much better! This new narrator does a terrible job of changing voices between characters, some women sound like men. At times she makes them sound angry even. Hard to listen to.

never listen to this performer again, it was painful to listen and actually made me cringe.

Enjoyed the series even though episodes were missing, then when this became available I bought it! story was ok, but the performance was awful! I have never cringed listening to a story but I did this one. she couldn't keep voices straight, accents were horrible, and often confused the boy and girl voices I would literally have to rewind to figure out who said what. not sure why plummer didn't do this one too, but I won't listen to any others that are read by this person.

Great story, poor narration.

The narration was robot like and was very dry which distracted from an otherwise awesome book.

Terrible narrator great story

I love this series but switching narrators in the middle was a horrible idea. I won’t be buying anymore of the books that have this narrator. She couldn’t keep the voices straight and some women sounded older or younger than the characters. Sandra Burr did a much better job!

The stories

I felt there were too many people to keep track of. Since I use Audible, sometimes I fall asleep and don’t quite grasp what’s going on when I wake up! So I thought it was a bit confusing probably because of myself. Did not care for this narrator she was tolerable, but the stories would have been better with a better narrator.
She was certainly better than some are.
