Wicky's never been magically stalked before.

He kinda likes it, to be honest. For some reason, it's upsetting everyone else, though. Maybe he should figure out who it is. Ooooo, maybe his fated one is on the other end! In…Thailand?

I love this series and this was a wonderful addition to it. The craziness of the characters is always fun. I can’t wait for the next one.

This was a great story in the adventures of the mages, in particular Wicky and the Asian mage who is searching for his destiny. It involves a cross ocean hunt, good friends, a skeptical family, and an HEA! I enjoyed the dual narration, too!

Wicky’s own book is a tighter, more focused piece than its placement in the series as a full installment might suggest: rather than functioning as an epilogue to Bel’s story, it uses Wicky’s fated-mates arc in Thailand to open the world laterally, introducing Sun and a new magical tradition with genuine curiosity and lightness. The format is noticeably slimmer than the previous two books, and some readers will want more time with Sun before the ending arrives, but Sherwood’s economy here feels intentional rather than rushed; the meet-cute lands because it isn’t overextended. Wicky’s voice, equal parts reckless and oddly perceptive, carries the novella effortlessly, and the ensemble cameos are deployed with the precision of a writer who knows exactly when to bring in familiar faces. It’s a confident, delightful addition that suggests this world has more room left in it.

Can you please write or have the writer? Write a book for cause. I want to know what happens next to them and see if Wiky and sun, marry or not, and maybe even Bell and his familiars marry.
