But Raelynn can hear the whispered rumours that damn the man she loves. And what her own eyes have witnessed seem to brand her adored and adoring Jeff as the worst sort of criminal. liked the story. I would like to have more masculine sounding voices. maybe dual readers? one for the male voices another for the female characters. it would enhance the quality of the story.

Traditional historical ro ance with a twist.

A little confusing in the beginning regarding references to the past. But it makes up for by filling it all in!!

Not her best & at time I thought she rambled on about nothing. A pleasant listen, but not one I would revisit.

When I read The Flame and the Flower I always wondered what became of Jeff. I liked almost more than Brandon because he was so sweet to Heather. I loved that he called her Tory and teased her almost as much as Brandon did but in an easier way. Now I know. I’m so happy that he found Raelynn to love even though their first year together was so bumpy. He deserved to have as much happiness as Brandon. Raelynn deserved happiness too having everyone she ever loved taken from her so soon. Another wonderful story by KEW! The narrator was also very enjoyable and added to the experience.

I really enjoyed this performance and this story.

Great love story in a time when marriage was more contracts oriented rather than love .
