Persephone's relationship with Hades has gone public, and the resulting media storm disrupts her normal life and threatens to expose her as the Goddess of Spring.

Hades, God of the Dead, is burdened by a hellish past that everyone's eager to expose in an effort to warn Persephone away.

Things only get worse when a horrible tragedy leaves Persephone's heart in ruin and Hades refusing to help. Desperate, she takes matters into her own hands, striking bargains with severe consequences.

Faced with a side of Hades she never knew and crushing loss, Persephone wonders if she can truly become Hades' queen.

Contains mature themes.

I really liked the book but I found myself getting annoyed at Persephone half of the time. She just refused to listen and ended up causing problems she blamed Everyone else. I felt Bad for Hades he is one of my favorite God's.

love but annoying.

I got this book to complete the story because it’s an alright take on the Persephone myth. My biggest criticism is that Persephone can be insufferable. She’s a young goddess in comparison to Hades. So she has a tendency to be overly emotional and blows things far out of proportion because she doesn’t want Hades help. Way less of a slow burn than book 1 though.

Eh..it’s okay

Loved it !! the narrator did an amazing job. I honestly rather have her narrate hades POV than the guy that did the 1st book .

amazing!!

I cried, repeatedly. This story is written just so well, between the author and the narrator you can't help but be completely sucked in.

even better than the first

I just love these books so much, Persephone can be a bit frustrating but I think it adds so much spice and emotional frustration to the storyline!! it keeps you wanting more.

LOVE
