In the past, science and meditation were considered poles apart, if not adversarial. In this talk, Osho shows science and meditation as complimentary, one the science of the outer, the other the science of the inner. For example he explains the esoteric science of rebirth using analogies of general science opening our minds to the possibilities of what is and what can be. This is a complicated topic and it is quite difficult to comprehend. Osho did quite a good job defining no self. He spoke about how the body is contained by the skin and the self is contained by the ego. He takes it further and mentioned how waves are constantly coming and going but it's never the same wave. That all things in life die and that many religions have this concept of heaven with women and wine and infinite bliss. That if you just abstain here you will have an infinite amount in heaven but he makes it clear that this is a concept that holds close to your ego survival going there and experiencing this bliss. The very concept itself is worldly given the desire for women and wine and calling it heaven. He basically says all will be reborn but not the way we think.

Osho goes in-depth about the concept of no self.

In this inspiring audiobook Osho provided beatiful and friendly explanations about the parallelism of matter and energy (as understand by modern Physics) and the Buddhist paradox that there is no a permanent soul or self, however there is rebirth.

Everything is explained so simply. I loved it. The only negative thing I can say is that there are some background sounds, since it seems that it was recorded during a live event but after a few minutes you don’t even notice. I actually enjoyed the birds sounds, it transported me.

Amazing
