Eric Khemeia has all the wrong kind of luck. First his boss at the burger joint fires him, then on the way home he slips on a railing and accidentally kills himself trying to save a woman from drowning.

But it doesn't end there, he awakens in a strange place to an angry 'goddess' that berates him for screwing up her clever plan to unite him with his soul mate.

He makes it to his new world intact, mostly, and heads to his class ceremony where he will learn what kind of power he will wield in a land of magic and monsters. But an inadvertent wish during the ceremony marks him for death and at his father's behest he makes a hasty retreat out of town.

Follow Eric, as he tries to avoid execution, or causing a civil war, while studying for his alchemy guild test and learning how to live with and love a cat woman without rubbing her the wrong way.

Computer generated voice messes up a great story, however it is a great story if you can get through it.

Action / Adventure?

Maybe reclassify this as a harem romance not action adventure. I got about 10 chapters in and had to throw in the towel. Not exactly what I signed up for. Having said that it has a solid story idea. Just got bogged down in a lot of other stuff we won’t get into.
