Ended up loving it

When book 1 started I was a little put off by the fact that it was about high school students and felt it was a little immature. However I stuck with it and by the end of book 1 I was ready to keep going straight into book 2. Book 2 to me was a little more interesting as the plot unfolded. Plus we got to hear Kearan's POV which was awesome, especially since Teddy Hamilton is such a talented voice actor. Book 2 has ended and I'm already downloading book 3! Can't wait to hear where the other characters end up :)

Goodness! What a roller coaster of emotions and sorry changes. This series is so much more than the straight up sexual erotic book it was going to be. That being said it had quite a few steamy scenes!!!! Great Read/Listen. Narrators did good as well! Give the series a shot.

The Second Book makes up for The First Book

The first half of the first book was growling to get through, because the LFC was very whiny and meek. She started to gain strength towards the end of book 1 and book 2 made up for book 1. There is a lot more story telling and complexity in this book. The characters develop and towards the end I was really enjoying the book. I don’t know if I’ll read the others in the series, but this was a good intro.

Even better aloud

This is book two of the duet and it was everything I expected and more. The narrators represented the characters quite well and kept the story moving nicely. Great book.

Wow!! BB Reid has outdone herself!

Kieran and Lakes story continues…. Can Kieran change? Can he become a better man? This is a story with many layers…. Kieran is how he was raised… cold and doesn’t know what love is. His life is in turmoil because his father is still out there.. he let Lake go… his brother hates him… and he wants to put the men who bought him when he was just a child away.

Lakes heart is broken. She tells him the he broke her just like they broke him…. Will it make him realize what he truly wants and needs?? Listen and find out!! You will not regret the listen!

Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton did a great job with these characters!!!
