THE TIKTOK FANTASY SENSATION THAT'S SOLD OVER HALF A MILLION COPIES, PERFECT FOR FANS OF SARAH J. MAAS AND JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT

'I hope you burn so bright that you scorch your Golden King down to ash'

After ten years, I have left the grips of one king only to fall into the hands of another.

I have fought the terrifying Red Raid Pirates, endured the murder of those I care about, and survived the frozen planes of Orea, only to find myself a prisoner of the army of Fourth Kingdom.

Leading the army is Commander Rip, a notorious warrior whose name is whispered in taverns and street corners all over the six kingdoms.

But as I get to know him, I realise that the tales of his brutality aren't true.

He is something else. He is fae.

Part of the powerful and magical people who are said to have abandoned this world entirely three hundred years ago.

But here one stands before me. And when he turns his onyx eyes upon me, I fall captive.

For an entirely different reason.

As his army marches towards a battle with the king I once adored, I must decide.

Midas or Rip.

Loyalty or freedom.

In this game of war and love, it's my turn to choose.

Epic Fantasy Historical

Critic reviews

Praise for The Plated Prisoner Series
This series has stolen my heart, my breath, my regard for anything else. I've never been so immersed in a story before-never read characters that have felt so real. I've cried, laughed, screamed, thrown my kindle across the room, picked it up again, swooned . . . These characters, this WORLD . . . it's everything. Raven has written a story for the ages, destined to go down as one of the epics
Raven writes with a magic that comes to life on the page. Every single word gleams like gold
This is one of those series that started off phenomenal, and only gets better with every subsequent book.
Get ready to be enthralled from the first word, and begging for more by the last. Raven Kennedy crafts an astonishing world that's filled with captivating characters and a story you won't be able to put down
This series is amazing and I can't recommend it enough. It is one of the best New Adult Fantasy books out there.
TEN GILDED STARS! Remarkably original . . . and the prose, people . . . gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous
An emotional rollercoaster
What I've enjoyed so far about this series is how it's a metaphor about real, emotional issues
I devoured [the] first book and it ended on such a nice cliff-hanger that I am thirsting for the next one

Don't get me wrong, I love the narrators accent but she makes Auren sound like a child. and when she does Slades voice it sounds like she is trying to do a 95 year old who smokes 5 packs a day. very unappealing.

As with most books the second one is way better than the first one. The first one I found a little boring I didn’t get what auren wanted with Midas but reading the second one the plot starts to develop a lot and things start to become interesting I’ll definitely buy the third one now. I love the narrator she’s doing a great job!

I love the narrator

Again, lived the story and the performance. In just so scared about my expectations for this being crashed with any of the next 4 upcoming books 🥹

Incredible!

This book should’ve been combined with book one to get a more fluid story. I like the premise, the world and the characters, but the plot moves soooo slowly. This book thankfully moves away from all the misery in book one, but Auren’s state of mind is still that of a victim of all the grooming and abuse from Midas and it takes her the entirety of this book to barely scratch the surface of recovery and realize the truth of her situation with Midas.
The romance is moving so slowly too. The introduction of many side characters is good, I like them.

Good Story, Glacial Pacing

Why do you have to sound like either a petulant child or an old granny? sigh instead of a young girl fighting for her life, her safety. It doesn’t blend well with the character and this book and story is beautiful.. but oh well not the voice.

Sigh
