The complete series in a single offering!

Heaven and hell are at war, with Earth as their battleground. For time immemorial, humans have been their playthings.

But not anymore.

I was just a regular guy until I tapped into the primordial power of humanity known as the Archon System. Now, I have powers humans were always meant to have.

Upsetting power balances is never simple, though. Heaven won't like what I've done, and you can bet that hell will be after a piece of me too.

What they'll find, though, is that I'm not the only human with the Archon System.

Humanity is rising up to become what we were always meant to be - the greatest power in existence.

the narrator was definitely monotonous his deep monotone reminded me of neagan from the walking dead

I really liked the main idea of the story and how it developed over time. And also a lot of value three books in one credit over 30 hours of audio. I will say, though that it’s a little bit of a letdown for MC‘s main nemesis in the story. However, not all stories is there a big climatic resolution between the MC and their nemesis. Also, most of the main plot lines do get resolved, but like with this author is famous for these Nuggets hanging out there unresolved making you wish for another book.

A great story all around

not a bad book, worth the one credit for all three, but you will be conflicted over the mc. I am

I am ok but confused with this one

This is fluff. well written fluff but fluff still characters are depthless but it is again decently written.

Nothing special but not bad

In terms of writing, this is decidedly not great. Some interesting world building, but with one-dimensional characters and significant plot holes. The MC is a tool, and not an intelligent one. It's alright as background noise, and with all three books for one credit I don't really regret it.

For the narration, I've never been very keen on Gilliland. He tends to be pretty overblown and lacking in any subtlety. Raya Kane is generally excellent, and the audiobook would have been much improved if she'd done the general narration in addition to the female characters.

It's not high end (or even mid) literature, but if you're looking to kill time it's... Alright.

Tolerably bad
