Great addition to the genre!

From the time I picked this book up, I had a really hard time putting it down. I loved the weaving of system mechanics with Norse mythology. Enjoyable MC who I didn't find to be OP. Loved how a group of friends got to prepare for the coming world changes together. Made me think about who my group would include... Beleavable dialogue, enjoyable characters, and a storyline that makes me hope it isn't too long before the next book comes out. Great first read from a new to me author, and I can't wait to experience what will come next.

Entertainment value

This book was addictive start to finish. Similar books stall throughout the book, but not this one. This author has found a way to keep the storyline fresh and not repetitive. I’m looking forward to seeing where this series is going. I can’t wait for book 2.

Fun Jaunt through a RPG Earth

Very fun listening and easy to keep up with. Made my car rides go much faster. Can’t wait to see what happens to Sinclair next!

Rarely does a book keep me on the edge of my seat, but this one had me up and out of it completely.

This book is a great blend of action, mythology, and modern video game culture. Anyone looking for a new fantasy world to get lost in needs to get this one a try.

Fantastic book! Must read!

Really enjoyed this book! Interesting, relatable characters in fun situations with a solid plot. The universe Mr. Bigford is building is exciting and has a ton of potential. I'm looking forward to the next books and could not recommend this enough. I've been a fan of LitRPGs, D&D, urban fantasy, and other similar things for years, and this book was immediately one of my favorites. If you are wondering if this read is worth it, it 100% is!!
