Unfortunately for me, he looks like he's made of shadows and really bad decisions, so of course, I follow him. But the more time we spend together, the more near-death experiences we go through, the more Rune gets under my skin. He makes most people look the other way, but he's sweet when no one's watching. He makes my heart do really weird things.

And just when I think my life couldn't possibly get any crazier—it does.

Turns out, this whole saving-the-Prince business can get a girl into a lot of trouble, and I'm not entirely sure I can handle it this time.

Lifebound is a romantasy with a delicious shadow fae and a couple of very spicy scenes. You can expect tropes like: she falls first, he falls harder; touch her & die; one *horse* trop; fae royalty; fated… but not *mates*; Prince Charming included (just not in your usual kind of way). Enjoy!

Put aside whatever book you are currently reading right now and pick up Lifebound by D.N. Hoxa instead because this is easily one of my top reads to date! A 5 star read you’ll regret not picking up sooner.

Nilah is a human “mortal” who is saved by a little boy when she is bit by a snake as a young girl, unbeknownst to her that little boy is a fae Prince who years later falls ill and needs her help. Traveling to a completely different realm sounds a lot easier than it proves to be- Nilah ends up trusting a handsome but broody fae- Rune, who says he is there to help deliver her to the sickly Prince safely, but is there more to him than meets the eye? Will their pull to one another be enough to transcend the blurring lines between them? What will happen when Nilah and Rune finally reach the fae Prince? Is she to become the Prince’s bride as his Lifebound?
I am so excited about this book and let’s be real, it’s become my new obsession now that I need everyone to read it STAT! It has it all the makings of a bestseller. Seriously.

Mortals and fae, mystical creatures, world building, secret enemies, political plotting and scheming, banter and slow burn that is so freaking hot you may need to actually fan yourself… I cannot rave enough about it.
