Without morals, the powerful and wealthy can do whatever they want. That's a hard truth for an aspiring Hunter to learn.

Brodie attempts to navigate his induction into the world of the multi Skilled, and discovers just how complicated and convoluted that can be. Even a small step from equipment Specialist Miner to company owner is fraught with challenges. Especially when you have to work with low ranked Guilds.

The complications only grow when the Awakening procedures of the UNMH are off limits to him due to a certain Demonic Skill issue. Brodie must navigate the hurdles of his legal trial with a literal growing Demon on his shoulder. At least Smegma doesn't have any morals either.

Can Brodie prove to the top clans that Abyss: Portal Services and Management has what it takes to thrive?

The story really picks up in this one, I love how the system gradually builds making it easy to understand and not overly crunchy! Can't wait for book 3!

Such a good series. Ryan does such a good job with character development, world building and storytelling. Looking forward to the next book coming out on Audible.

Finally the story turns more toward the isekai and litrpg progression & adventure. I liked it better than the first book.

No spoiler summary:
Book 1: setting the story up for when where and why the hero does and has things
Book 2: wrapping up the beginning and intro to the fun part of the isekai.

Would get 10 more books if they were like the last two hours of book 2, though I understand the necessary world and character and story building in the first book and a half.

Can’t wait for book 3!
