GREAT LISTEN.. BUT A DUET WITH NO BOOK 2 UNTIL OCT

The narration was perfect with its delicious Italian accents by CJ and Dane, the building romance was so sweet and addictive, the plot had a good balance of everything I love in a Mafia romance and once again Giana has delivered a five star book. HOWEVER, the cliffhanger had me screeching like a banshee because I thought it was a standalone rather than a Duet which I wouldn’t of started if I’d known I’d have to wait until October for the conclusion. 🤬😢

Thirty-four yo Raffa just wanted to be Guinevere’s knight in shining armour instead of the dark Capo people feared and, for some reason, this shy but strong twenty-three yo American virgin brought out a side of Raffa he’d never felt before. Patient, thoughtful, kind, possessive and very protective.. so, what harm would it do to pretend to this tourist he’s just a wealthy businessman for the few weeks she’s staying in his country? And what will be the fate of sweet Guinevere, who’s living out her dreams of visiting Florence while falling in love with the perfect man? Well unfortunately we’ll all have to wait until October to find out the conclusion after their bubble bursts in a nasty cliffhanger.

Worth a credit? Yes, I really enjoyed it.. but it did lose a star because of Guinevere’s reaction when the 💩hits the 🪭.

Fairytale

This is a beautiful story. The narration by CJ Bloom and Dane Anderson was spectacular. Their mastery of the Italian language was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Loved every second of this book and can’t wait for the next one. Both narrators are perfect for this book.
