The complete series in a single offering!

The aliens came without warning and humanity quickly found itself waging a losing war.

My name is James Thorne, and I wasn't supposed to matter. Before the invasion, I was just a guy in a dead-end job, keeping my head down and my past buried. The Gehenna want our annihilation. Thankfully, they angered the Aetherion who may help humanity not only fight back, but turn the tide.

When I’m offered the chance to be Cleansed, to become something more than I was, I take it. And it turns out I’m special. No, I’m not the Chosen One. And yes, there are others like me, but as a Psyker, I can do things most can't. Things that make me very dangerous.

As the war expands, the Gehenna think they’ve already won.

But they underestimated the power of a pissed off marine.

The outline plot is there, but the story is missing.
There is lot of drama, hell even the training montage beginning of book two is made into drama. This is not the way.
Tell a story - let find out more about the characters - who are they? (No, cute read head is not a character, its a placeholder)
"attention seeking behavior", from the book after another over the top fighting scene...yep, that kind of describes it

Only an outline of a plot...

the narrator is really good. I love the variation and the story, whilst predictable at times is very satisfactory. I was really thrown at first when it came to book 5. It's book 2 again so we actually get 5 books: 1 -> 4 + 6. It's a shame because i love the series but I will think twice about paying for a series. If this can be fixed then I would update this part of the review.

Good adventure, but not full 6 books. Book 5 is actually Book 2 again.
