When you're a blacklisted preschool teacher and somehow end up coaching the worst team in the NHL, it's shaping up to be the crappiest Christmas ever.

We’re adding an NHL head-coaching job to the Yule log dumpster fire of my holiday season.

I lost my apartment and had to move back home for the holidays.

My mom sneaks into my bedroom to watch me sleep because she “can’t help it. I missed my little girl so much, Ellie!”

And my day-drinking granny has declared herself the team's new equipment manager so she can ogle hockey butts in the locker room.

The last thing I need is 22 adult toddlers with blades on their feet and bad attitudes for Christmas.

Captain Fletcher Sullivan? He’s the worst, with his muscles and his sneer, turning every practice into The Grinch on Ice.

Between breaking up fights, hosting snack time, and bailing my goalie out of jail, I have no time for Christmas cheer—or for the cocky, absurdly ripped team captain who thinks I don’t belong in the NHL.

Yes, I played on the women’s national hockey team.

Yes, I lift weights.
And yes, I will pick up a six-four hockey player and put him in time-out if he doesn’t follow directions.

There’s no Christmas miracle coming to save us. We lose. A lot.

But armed with Goldfish crackers and juice boxes, I’m going to turn this team of ragtag hockey players into winners.

Even if it turns me into the Grinch.

Or worse—makes me fall for the enemy.

This was my second book by Alina Jacobs (second in the series). I loved both the MMC, Fletcher, and the FMC, Ellie. This was a cute story and I enjoyed reading about them chasing their dreams. The FMCs Dad, Nate, was horrible to her for most of the book. Im sure thats the way he was supposed to be but he was annoying. It wasnt until about 90% in the book that I started to not despise him. The FMCs family was alot to follow. They were funny but almost too much at times. I had to rewind the audiobook several times to figure out who was saying what. I liked this book/audiobook and I would read another book by Alina Jacobs.

A good book with good narration

I never read the hockey rom con books but because I love this author now I’m hooked. She ties in other characters like gracey and I love that. With the frost brothers
We followed the guys but now it’s great to have women in a family to follow. It’s such a cute rom con. I hope we get a third.

Alina girl u did it again

rollicking, irreverent, hockey romance featuring a last place team rocked by scandal, an undercover hockey player with sinister motives, and the team’s former PR director who finds herself their new coach after the FBI and SWAT exit the arena. It’s an ambitious enemies to lovers storyline filled with snarky banter, an entire cast of quirky, endearing hockey misfits, and a meddling, irreverent side-kick granny with an acerbic wit and a penchant for salacious x-rated commentary that made me laugh out loud. Buckle up and get ready for absolute chaos on ice with entertaining narration performances by Meg Sylvan and Bradley Ford.

Puck Me It’s Christmas had me laughing out loud several times and the spice is perfection. I’m obsessed with Fletcher and Ellie is amazing. Granny Murray does it again, she’s seriously the best. I really enjoyed the narrators and feel like they brought the story to life!

Funny, cute and spicy!

Definitely spicy and you just have to love Granny Murray. No filter and some of the best lines.
You find yourself rooting for Ellie, Fletcher and the Rhode Islanders.
Ellie and Fletcher really don't want to fall for each other but they fall hard.
Panty-melting encounters ensue.
The Rhode Islanders just need a good dedicated coach to turn things around. Enter, somewhat reluctantly, Ellie.
Steamy scenes and lots of good hockey play keeps the plot moving along.

If you read Alina's books regularly you will really enjoy the appearance of familiar characters. There are a couple of characters that could use their own stories in my opinion; the ubiquitous Dana Holbrook and Zayne Murphy for example.

The audiobook truly adds to the enjoyment of this book. I read and listened at the same time.
The audiobook delivers the story perfectly. You can listen only and miss nothing.

I received an ARC of the audiobook for an unbiased review.
