purrfect cozy mystery series

I like how the leading lady can talk to cats. The conversations between the cats are fun. I will say that I like books 2-4 more than book 1, but I enjoyed it enough to get the series.

Totally lacking

I tried so hard to like this book. I enjoyed Lilian Jackson Brown, so I was hoping for something comparable. Nope. Plot was meh - ridiculous conversations with the cats, grandma hitting on a young man... I don't think I even cracked a small smile during the "humorous" parts. I only kept listening cuz I was thinking it can't get worse, but alas, it got worse.

Cute idea, but boring

Cute concept and good narration. The story just drags. There aia more converation about the cats and very little story. I thought i would go by fast for a short book, but it never picked up for me. DNF

Good premise, disappointed in the politics

I can appreciate the effort made to moderate the liberal progressive thinking but ultimately I just couldn't take anymore.
