The ultimate evil has descended on Parshil, and Warren has no idea how to defeat it.

If he attacks the Hordebeast, it regenerates, getting stronger each time—but if he leaves it alone, it destroys everything it touches. To find a solution, Warren chases down the mythical Maker who created the Hordebeast. With the help of allies old and new, he uncovers far more than he bargained for. The sickening answers to Parshil’s mysteries shake him... but they also hold the key to his victory.

Now he’s only got one thing left to do: free the corrupted, dead souls of the dragons that power the Hordebeast. But the Maker won’t let go of his creation so easily, and it will take the combined forces of dragons, elves, and humans alike to end the cycle of dark magic for good.

Gets a little too fantasy when it comes to sex but the fighting is amazing and I enjoyed this series. Having 5 books was definitely a good choice and a good ending too

Great fighting and sex

A lot of twist and turns that package everything up very well. Couldn’t ask for a better conclusion!! Highly recommend entire series!!

I wasn’t able to finish this one. I had been listening through the series and found it interesting overall, but this book includes a fairly large in-story time jump that left me a bit lost. To be clear, I’m not referring to the release schedule of the books—this is about the time skip within the story itself.

I can believe the story would still be enjoyable if I had continued, but the time jump made it harder for me to stay engaged, and I ended up losing interest. I understand that some progression between books is necessary, but in this case, the jump felt a bit too big and disrupted the sense of continuity between the two installments.

I know time skips are common in longer series, but I’ve found that large gaps between books in the story can feel a little off, especially when important developments seem to happen off-page. As with many harem-style series, it also felt like things were being rushed toward the end rather than given time to breathe.

The Time Jumps

cons - lots of things happen throughout this series that contradict prior statements. (for example becky's orphan story completely changes in book 5 compared to book 1)
so many girls that he gets with you don't really feel invested in any of them.
pros - good story and great voice actors

good story but inconsistent.
