What a twist!

Ok, I have been super curious throughout this series as to exactly what kind of stuff Cole was into. The kind of man he is. I loved how they started with them as kids and moved into the present. different from the flashbacks of the previous books. We also got to see older scenes through new eyes and perspectives. Her mom drove me nuts! I wasn't thrilled with Cole going off with another woman and her finding them. He acted like that was just fine. not cool.

A story of firsts

These duet voice actors never cease to amaze. I have been listening to the Royal Elite story since Deviant King, and even now listening to this story I’m amazed that I actually feel as if I’m listening to characters specific to this story. The voice actors managed to render the personalities of Cole and Silver perfectly, the quiet scholarly alpha Cole and the superficially confident Silver. Again, a listening adventure as the voice actors flawlessly perform a range of tones and inflections and a diversity of characters.

This story follows the blossoming love story starting with a childhood friendship and silent respect to their slightly taboo young adulthood relationship. Aside from Deviant King’s Elsa and Aiden, this couple was my favorite in the Royal Elite series. Overall this story was one of the most steamy and captivating and had a delightful little twist characteristic Rina Kent’s books.

It’s a duet!

Great story and loved the twist at the end. Definitely not the person I thought. The narrators are great. Love listening to them.

Good but...

Was so excited to get to this one because I totally love Cole's darkness. Still can not stand Silver. She is a pretentious, self-righteous, brat. My parents got a divorce and now I have to be a phony wench. Even after the story, I do not see her in a different light... she is almost worse. I'd take his crazy over her stubborn falsity. Wish Cole had a kinky obsession with someone else. Glad I read it, but she should have gone bye-bye.
