Zyon is my vampire soulmate, and I have the bite marks to prove it.But we have to keep our romance a secret… for now. I can’t imagine being with anyone else, but the vampire queen commanded me to step back and pretend Zyon hasn’t already claimed me as his mate. I swear, if I see one more woman fawn over him, I might just snap.

Zyon is to shut down every woman who tries to flirt with him. Zyon only wants me… so the vampiresses trying to steal him away from me can suck it! Adding to my list of worries is the way my body seems to have a mind of its own, like something inside me is desperate to get out. And I have a feeling that whatever is locked away isn’t going to want to play nice with my new, soon-to-be vampire family. To make matters worse, I feel like I’m still being watched. But that’s impossible, right?

Please Note: Although this book does have women trying to catch Zyon’s eye, he is quick to shut them down. There is no cheating and Zyon threatens to rip body parts off any females who dare to touch him.

Please be sure to listen to the full sensitivity note before diving into this story. With a violent, obsessed stalker and a protective vampire prince with a beast-like form, some scenes are a bit wild and include darker elements (such as physical violence and death during attack/battle scenes).

Overall I enjoyed both books. The narrators were very good and enjoyable. The ending seemed a little rushed and left on a cliffhanger of sorts.

Over all

I like the main characters some stories the female leads miss such obvious things and just don’t pay attention to anything I like that this one has a head with brain in it. The story flows nicely and I’m hoping for a third book.

Great series

Thanks to the Audible plus catalog I got to enjoy books 1 and 2 for free. I enjoyed this vampire/hunter imagination and I enjoyed the performances. The only thing that would have made it better is if it had been performed in duet style. The ending was very satisfying 👏🏾

4 Starz - worthy of a repeat listen

Save a Vamp, Take a Crown (Save Series Book 2) ~~ Book two cranks everything up ~ the stakes, the danger, the emotional chaos ~ and I loved every minute of it. Once again, I bounced between Kindle and Audible, and this is one of those stories where listening actually heightened the experience. The tone, the tension, and the power shifts came through perfectly in audio.

This book leans hard into power, loyalty, and what it really means to rule ~ or survive under someone else’s rule. Saving a vamp isn’t just an act of compassion here; it’s political, dangerous, and potentially deadly. And taking a crown? That’s not a fairy-tale ending ~ it’s a responsibility soaked in blood, sacrifice, and consequences.

What I appreciated most is that the characters don’t suddenly become fearless or perfect. Doubt, fear, and second-guessing are everywhere, which makes the growth feel real. Alliances are shaky, trust is fragile, and you’re never quite sure who’s going to betray whom. I was constantly on edge ~ in the best way.

The pacing is strong, the world-building deepens without bogging the story down, and the emotional payoff hits hard. Audible really shines during the confrontations and power-shift moments, while Kindle let me linger on the quieter scenes that carried a lot of emotional weight.

This sequel doesn’t play it safe ~ it challenges the characters and the reader, and it sets the stage for even bigger things to come.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.
