Short and Sweet

Elle made a grave drunken mistake that tore hers and Maya's love apart. For 7 years Elle played the field and never once apologized to Maya, nor learned from it.

Maya hates Elle and having to see her almost every day when she moves back home is harder than she thought. Their love is still there though.

While I don't believe in 2nd chances when its comes to what Elle did, it works out for some.

Another fantastic Fire Ridge Story

Lori Prince did a great job with narration (as usual). The 2nd chance love between the fire fighter and the doc felt like it was drawn from real life. I absolutely loved the ending (no spoilers)

This was a good book

I like books about first responders and MDs, and this is a good series to enjoy all of that., it is well written and narration is good, although Lori Prince is a little too serious while narrating. Now I am moving to book 2.

My favorite book in the series so far. Great characters, great story, loved every minute of it!

Now, let's talk about Elle and Maya. Secord-chance romance amidst the chaos of both their professions. It's obvious from the start that there was some unresolved tension between them, and it was only a matter of time before it all went up in flames. It was hot 💥🔥❤️‍🔥
