I get so nervous about sequels but this was truly phenomenal and will probably be my favorite book of the year. This is the kind of romance you dream of! Rosetta is everything you’d want in a FMC and I loved Allister’s willingness to grow and evolve while still being true to himself and allowing his partner to do the same. Spice is always perfect, same with the banter and world building. And the epilogue 🥹🥹🥹

Swagger, rough, and naughty!! Lively deep characters made the story fun and hard to turn off. Loved it!!

Disappointing ending

The voice work is just as great as the first book especially Theodore🥵. The spicy scenes are hot. Unfortunately I thought the conclusion of the story felt very lazy and boring.

It was very obvious why she ran away, they foreshadowed it a bit too much, and even if they didn't it wasn't very interesting. I especially hated that they got married, like c'mon what kind of pirate gets married. I think it would have been much better if she ran because she wanted to make him chase her, and that could have led up to a really hot spicy scene. maybe have her leave notes teasing him. Let her be the final treasure.
